Job summary

Forest Recruiting Group aka Affiliated Recruiters Network is partnering with a CNC Machine Tool Builder to hire a CNC Field Service Engineer. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines at customer sites nationwide, with heavy travel across the US East of the Mississippi.

Qualifications

5+ years of CNC machine tool maintenance and service.
Strong PLC programming and FANUC control experience.
Willingness to travel 100% for field service engagements.

Responsibilities

Install CNC machine tool systems at customer sites with all options.
Perform leveling, geometry checks, and final adjustments for peak performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and application issues.
Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions including repair or replacement.
Provide on-site and remote technical support via phone, email, and other channels.
Support customers, distributors, and internal teams with guidance and problem resolution.
Provide customer training and assist with project coordination as needed.
Maintain service documentation and reporting.
Travel extensively (100%) including overnights and weekend travel.
Perform other duties as needed.
