Job summary

Erwin Junker Machinery, Inc. seeks a Field Service Engineer to deliver on-site support for our CNC grinding systems. You will install, maintain, and repair high-speed machines, ensuring peak performance and customer satisfaction across North America.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in CNC grinding, strong technical knowledge, and a customer-focused approach. The role demands extensive travel, including US/Canada and occasional Europe, with company-provided training and growth

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role in the manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of industrial mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Understanding of grinding processes
• Ability to analyze technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours for on-site service calls.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with CNC grinding machines.
• Valid driver's license and Passport.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of JUNKER grinding machines.
• Analyze machine performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Conduct training sessions for customers on machine operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement process improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities and customer interactions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during service operations.
• Support customers in optimizing their production processes using JUNKER technologies.
• Travel to customer sites within the United States and Canada as needed.
• Travel to Europe to take the machine over before it is shipped to the US/CA.
