Job summary

Automated Logic, a Carrier Company, is seeking a Field Engineer to deliver durable building automation solutions by applying sound technical judgment to complex projects. You will troubleshoot, install, commission, and optimize DDC systems while taking end-to-end ownership of field execution.

This role requires travel to support operations and a high level of accountability for system performance. You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with Project Managers, and ensure accurate

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years’ experience in HVAC, Building Automation, or IT.
• Experience with IP networking, Modbus, BACnet, or PLC programming.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at height.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and optimize DDC systems.
• Use technical judgment to solve automation challenges.
• Train owners on system operation and partner with Project Managers.
• Travel as needed and own complex projects end-to-end.
• Maintain documentation and participate in project reviews.
