Shimadzu Scientific Instruments is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in providing exceptional service for analytical instrumentation. The role covers repair, maintenance and validation of demo equipment and returns from customers, with travel within the local region.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology.
• At least four years of experience repairing analytical instrumentation including HPLC, GC, LCMS, AA.
• Strong communication and customer relations skills; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily repair and maintenance support for assigned products.
• Travel within the local region for field service and customer support.
• Perform in-house bench repairs as needed with limited supervision.
• Offer technical support by phone to customers and field personnel.
