Shimadzu Scientific Instruments is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team and perform repair, maintenance, and verification of analytical instrumentation. In this role, you will handle in-house bench work, field service visits, and installation support.

Applicants should have an associate degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology with at least one year of repair experience on analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, LCMS, AA).

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology, bachelor’s preferred.
• At least one year repairing analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, LCMS, AA.
• Strong technical knowledge of these instruments and systems.
• Good communication and customer-relations skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily repair and maintenance support for assigned products, including installations.
• Conduct in-house bench repairs and onsite field service with limited supervision.
• Travel within the local region for customer support, including overnights.
• Offer technical phone support to customers and field personnel.
