AbbVie is seeking an Analytical Instrument Service Engineer to install, maintain, calibrate, and repair high-end laboratory instruments including HPLC, GC, and Mass Spectrometry systems. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime while supporting customers in achieving scientific goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a science-related field preferred; related experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of directly relevant experience acceptable with relevant education.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, MS).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse customers.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair analytical lab instruments (HPLC, GC, MS).
• Diagnose instrument performance issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate resolutions with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Advise customers on maintenance schedules and configurations.
• Review technical docs, analyze reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Use CMMS to track service requests and document activities.
• Train peers on equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety rules.
• Meet customer expectations and provide follow-up plans.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
