Job summary

Screen Spe in Albany, NY is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support toolsets in the NE region and provide on-site service at our ATCA center. You will work with 300mm and 200mm systems, performing preventive and corrective maintenance and training customer MTs.

Responsibilities include safety-focused troubleshooting, tool upgrades, and accurate data entry for tracking spreadsheets. Travel (domestic and international) and a valid passport/REAL ID are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent military training or field experience.
• 4 years of related experience with an Associate's Degree.
• 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree; military training may substitute.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for training and support.
• Proven ability to follow safety procedures and use protective equipment.

Job Summary:

Provide support for toolsets in the NE region and onsite service contract at our ATCA center located in Albany, NY. Tool sets supported include both 300mm and 200mm systems. Salary Range: $45.00 - $60.00 Per Hour

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Daily activities include engaging in all SCREEN safety systems (SMBWA, Good Catch, Safety Stand-down, Etc.), log checks, process history analysis, alarm check, in-fab and remote tool support, customer relations and support, data entry for tracking spreadsheets and tool manual information research for parts and tool upgrades. The Field Service Engineer will be performing in-depth maintenance activities both preventive and as-needed repairs for failed components. FSE will work alongside customer MT’s and provide training and support as needed. Work schedule could include M-F, CWW, Day and Night shift schedules.

Job Requirements:

Electro/Pneumatic high precision troubleshooting and repairs (air/liquid/mechanical/electrical/robot systems).

Electrical and Fluid diagram familiarity.

Chemical handling familiarly (protective equipment and hazards).

Metric hand tool familiarity (use of specialized tools and fixtures). Able to perform basic tool body and associated support hardware installation, facilitation, setup and teaching up to and including process acceptance.

Patience and caution for critical activities such as robot teaching, wafer running and nozzle teaching.

A positive “Can Do” outlook and demeanor with customer and fellow engineers; must be willing to learn additional tool sets.

A strong “Safety First” attitude about all aspects of working with SCREEN.

Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds.

Familiarity with Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with one or more dangerous element or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc.

Basic computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, SharePoint).

Must be willing to travel for training and additional domestic or international support if needed.

Must have a valid passport and REAL ID for immediate travel.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree; or

Associate's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related experience; or

8 years of related experience in lieu of degree; completion of military technical training and field experience may substitute for an Associate's Degree.
