Job summary

Carolina Cat in Charlotte, NC is seeking experienced Field Service Engineers for our Advanced Electrical Services team. You will inspect, modify and repair low and medium voltage electrical systems in the field.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 2–3 years in electrical power generation or related field service, and a valid driver’s license; a 2-year AAS or 4-year BAS in Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 2–3 years in electrical power generation or related field service experience.
• AAS or BAS in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Customer-oriented, able to work under pressure and emergency callouts may apply.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, modify and repair low and medium voltage electrical systems in the field.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and system checkout.
• Document work clearly on service reports and ensure safety standards.
