Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Field Service Representative in Charlotte, NC to work on electrical equipment projects and deliver technical solutions to customers. The role includes complex engineering tasks, report generation, and travel as needed.

Qualified candidates will have a strong background in power distribution, protective relays, and test equipment operation, with a valid driver’s license and ability to drive an Eaton vehicle. This position offers a company car and a guaranteed 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or higher with 2 years of electrical or mechanical industry experience, or trade school with 5+ years servicing electrical distribution or control systems
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
• No relocation; reside within 50 miles of Charlotte NC Loc 7; certain military exceptions
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned projects for electrical equipment
• Deliver technical solutions to customers
• Perform advanced engineering tasks including equipment design, testing, or process studies
• Display proficiency in test equipment operation, troubleshooting and protection design
• Generate timely service reports on work, product performance, and warranties
