Job summary

VOLTO Consulting seeks a hands-on IT Support professional to deliver 2nd level end-user and hardware support at our Pennsylvania location. You will install OS and software via SCCM, manage mobile devices, and assist with AV conferencing across offices.

The role emphasizes asset management, procurement, and adherence to ITIL practices. You will troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and telephony equipment, and provide remote support for other sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 2nd level IT support experience.
• Experience with SCCM OS installation and security software.
• Experience with mobile technologies (MobileIron, iPad, Android, iPhone).
• Knowledge of Office products (Word/Excel/Email).
• Proficiency in desktop support and current Windows OS versions.
• Hardware support for laptops, printers, desktops, and telephony equipment.
• Backup & restore of OS and data.
• Procurement and asset management responsibilities.
• Hands-on AV conferencing experience.
• Asset refresh experience.
• Basic network troubleshooting; AD & GP knowledge; ability to lift up to 30 kg.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer break fix support including off hours and weekends for designated equipment in office or plant environment.
• Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware and peripherals.
• Document, upgrade or replace hardware and software systems.
• Communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
• Accept and deliver all service calls assigned.
• Complete administrative tasks associated with each call.
• Control and return of assets and inventory.
• Other duties as needed to meet business needs.
• Install wires/cables and splice as required.
• Inspect and test wiring to locate and repair problems and ensure specs are met.
• Backup tape replacement.
• Provide executive support.
• Handle procurement tasks.
• Support other locations remotely if required.
• Support infrastructure projects (small) locally within location.

Must Have Skills

• Provide 2nd level IT support
• Experience with operating system installation using SCCM, anti-spyware, anti-virus, custom and commercial software
• Experience with mobile telephony technologies (MobileIron, iPad, Android and iPhone)
• Knowledge of office products like word/excel/email client etc.
• Proficiency in desktop support including knowledge of current Windows operating systems
• Hardware support - Laptops, Printers, Desktop, Telephony equipment break fix

• Procurement of Hardware, Maintaining the assets and Hardware spare stock
• Hands on Audio/Video conferencing experience
• Experience in performing asset refresh
