Job summary

Distro seeks a Systems Integration Engineer to lead customer-facing integration, testing, deployment of multidisciplinary systems and provide field support.

The role requires travel to customer sites (domestic and international) and collaboration with R&D and Operations to ensure successful deployments.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in system integration, testing, or field service.
• Strong reading of electronics and schematics.
• Experience with communication protocols (TCP/IP, RS232/RS485).
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer-facing technical activities as the focal point between R&D/Operations and the customer.
• Install, integrate, and commission systems at customer sites (domestic and international).
• Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and system repair.
• Manage and execute in-house repairs and maintenance activities.
• Conduct system testing (functional, communication, software, and hardware).
• Deliver system demonstrations and operational training to customers.
• Prepare reports, document faults, and provide feedback to R&D teams.
• Support deployment, upgrades, and operational activities in the field.

Position Summary

Responsible for integration, testing, deployment, and field support of multidisciplinary systems (mechanical, electrical, and software). Acts as a customer-facing technical lead, supporting R&D-related projects and managing customer interactions throughout deployment and operation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead customer-facing technical activities, acting as a focal point between R&D/Operation and the customer
• Perform installation, integration, and commissioning of systems at customer sites (domestic and international)
• Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and system repair
• Manage and execute in-house repairs and maintenance activities
• Conduct system testing (functional, communication, software, and hardware)
• Deliver system demonstrations and operational training to customers
• Prepare reports, document faults, and provide feedback to R&D teams
• Support deployment, upgrades, and operational activities in the field

This role requires to travel to Israel for 5-8 days for training as most of the equipment, engineering activities, and subject matter experts are currently located in Israel. In the future, this requirement may no longer be necessary as capabilities are established locally.

• Experience with test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope - advantage)
• Experience with Embedded systems / Linux - advantage
• High-level English (spoken and written)
• Willingness to travel internationally
