Job summary

Jobtailor in San Antonio, TX is seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician to perform timely preventative maintenance of medical equipment in a hospital setting. You will handle troubleshooting, service repairs, and installations of moderate complexity while leading communications with customers.

The role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, on-call availability including weekends, and ensuring regulatory and hospital protocol compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with multi-modality equipment including troubleshooting, repair and installation.
• Associate degree or equivalent military education with relevant experience or a High School diploma with substantial related experience.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Requirements

• Associate degree in related field or equivalent military education and 4 years of experience servicing electronic equipment
• High school diploma/GED and 6 years of relevant experience
• Technical capabilities in Multi-Modality including troubleshooting, repair and installation
• Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License
• Experience with Web applications as well as Microsoft suite of products
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
• Ability to be available after hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule including weekends
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities while maintaining customer satisfaction
