Job summary

Markent Personnel, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service medical laboratory analyzers in the ROCK ISLAND, IL area. Responsibilities include installation, servicing, preventive maintenance, and on-site training of instrumentation.

The ideal candidate has a certificate or AAS in electronics, 3+ years field service experience in medical devices, willingness to overnight travel, and is fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Base salary ranges 65K–85K plus overtime and a 4K–8K annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Certificate or AAS in electronics is required.
• Experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting is required.
• Overnight travel will be required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a field service engineer.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or medical instrumentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinate problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
• Maintain car inventory (tools, parts).
• Provide basic on-site training on company instrumentation.

Job description

No Relocation. Need to reside within the greater ROCK ISLAND, IL (QUAD CITIES AREA).

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater ROCK ISLAND, IL area.

Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting background.

Qualifications:

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required
• Minimum of 3 years experienceas a field service engineer
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities:
