Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting seeks a Field Service Engineer to service medical laboratory analyzers and robotic instrumentation in the Memphis, TN area. The role emphasizes hands-on electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting, with required overnight travel to client sites and ensuring compliance with vaccination requirements.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years in field service, experience with lab instrumentation, and the ability to establish strong customer relations.

Qualifications

• Certificate or AAS degree in electronics or related discipline is required.
• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Involved with installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
• Maintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts), etc.
• Provide basic on-site training regarding operation of company instrumentation.

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater MEMPHIS, TN area.

Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting background.
