Job summary

Eden Capital Careers in Memphis hires a Field Service Engineer to install, service and maintain medical lab instrumentation in the greater MEMPHIS, TN area. The role requires hands-on electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting with a strong focus on customer relations and on-site training.

Overnight travel is required; a certificate or AAS in electronics is mandatory, and candidates should have 3+ years in field service. A COVID-19 vaccination is required.

**** No Relocation. Need to reside within in the greater MEMPHIS, TN area

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater MEMPHIS, TN area.

Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting background.

Qualifications

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.


• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.


• Overnight travel will be required


• Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer


• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.


• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Will be involved with the installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.


• Establish a good customer relations foundation.


• Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support Group


• Maintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts), etc.


• Provides basic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation

• Base salary 65K - 85K depending on experience (overtime & performance bonus should add an additional 4K - 8K annually, probably more.).
