Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC in Memphis, TN is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service and perform preventive maintenance on medical laboratory analyzers, servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater Memphis area.

This role requires a solid electronics/electro-mechanical troubleshooting background, a Certificate or AAS in electronics, a minimum of 3 years field service experience, overnight travel, and full COVID-19 vaccination.

Qualifications

• Certificate or AAS degree in electronics or related discipline is required.
• 3+ years minimum field service engineer experience.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and preventive maintenance of instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
• Maintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts).
• Provides basic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation.

**** No Relocation. Need to reside within in the greater MEMPHIS, TN area

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater MEMPHIS, TN area.

Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting background.

• Overnight travel will be required


• Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer


• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.


• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
