Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and maintain medical laboratory analyzers in the greater Memphis, TN area. Overnight travel is required, and candidates should have a strong electronics/electro-mechanical troubleshooting background.

Qualification includes a electronics certificate or AAS, 3+ years in field service, and full COVID-19 vaccination. A background in servicing medical instrumentation is a plus, with a company vehicle provided.

• Overnight travel required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and preventive maintenance of instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinate problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
• Maintain car inventory (tools, parts, etc.).
• Provide on-site training regarding operation of company instrumentation.

**** No Relocation. Need to reside within in the greater MEMPHIS, TN area

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater MEMPHIS, TN area.

Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting background.

Qualifications

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.


• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.


• Overnight travel will be required


• Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer


• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.


• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Will be involved with the installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.
