Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service medical laboratory analyzers in the greater Memphis, TN area.

The role requires installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of automated lab instrumentation, with overnight travel as needed. The ideal candidate has an electronics/electro-mechanical troubleshooting background and at least 3 years of field service experience, with prior lab instrument experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Certificate or AAS in electronics or related discipline is required.
• Experience with electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel is required.
• Minimum of 3 years as a field service engineer.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or instrumentation is a plus.
• This position requires full COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on instrumentation.
• Establish a solid customer relations foundation.
• Coordinate problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
• Maintain car inventory of tools and parts.
• Provide on-site training on operation of instrumentation.

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater MEMPHIS, TN area.

Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting background.

Qualifications

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.


• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.


• Overnight travel will be required


• Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer


• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.


• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities
