Guided Search Partners is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the Indianapolis area to support instrumentation used in testing and analysis across industries. The role involves traveling regionally and nationally to install, service, and calibrate equipment.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of customer-facing field service experience and hands-on skills in electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. You should be able to read schematics and diagrams and be willing to travel Mon-Fri when

Opportunity Description

Our client is an established manufacturer of instruments used for material testing and analysis. These instruments are used in a variety of industries including aerospace, metals, auto, medical and other industrial product manufacturers. They are looking for a Field Service Engineer in the Indianapolis area to cover accounts in the region. This role will involve traveling to customers in the region but will also include travel around the country to support other territories if needed.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of customer facing field service experience
• Hands on experience with electronics, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Ability to travel around the region and the U.S. as needed, may also include trips to Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and/ or Dominican Republic
• Travel may include Mon to Fri some weeks
• Ability to read schematics, electrical and mechanical diagrams
