Guided Search Partners is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the Houston area to service and install instruments used for material testing across industries. This role will involve traveling to customers in the region and may include travel around the country to support other territories as needed.

The position offers base salary, bonuses, a company car, vacation/PTO and comprehensive benefits, with training on their instruments provided by the employer.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of customer facing field service experience.
• Hands-on experience with electronics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to travel regionally and within the U.S.; may include Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and/ or Dominican Republic.
• Reading schematics, electrical and mechanical diagrams.
• Travel may include Mon to Fri some weeks.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites in the region to service and install instruments.
• Support other territories in the U.S. as needed.
• Read schematics and electrical/mechanical diagrams as part of daily tasks.

Our client is an established manufacturer of instruments used for material testing and analysis. These instruments are used in a variety of industries including aerospace, metals, auto, medical and other industrial product manufacturers. They are looking for a Field Service Engineer in the Houston area to cover accounts in the region. This role will involve traveling to customers in the region but will also include travel around the country to support other territories if needed.
