Job summary

Guided Search Partners is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the Philadelphia area to support instrument-based testing systems. The role involves regional travel and potential nationwide assignments to support other territories as needed.

The position includes base salary, bonuses, a company car, vacation/PTO, and benefits. Training on instruments will be provided, and the candidate should enjoy hands-on work with electronics and electro-mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of customer facing field service experience.
• Hands on experience with electronics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to travel around the region and the U.S. as needed, may also include trips to Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and/ or Dominican Republic.
• Travel may include Mon to Fri some weeks.
• Ability to read schematics, electrical and mechanical diagrams.

Our client is an established manufacturer of instruments used for material testing and analysis. These instruments are used in a variety of industries including aerospace, metals, auto, medical and other industrial product manufacturers. They are looking for a Field Service Engineer in the Philadelphia area to cover accounts in the region. This role will involve traveling to customers in the region but will also include travel around the country to support other territories if needed.
