Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Customer Engineer – Field Services to install, commission, and service UPS, PDUs, and Battery systems (2-120KVA) across diverse customer sites. You will provide on-site and remote support, aiming for first-time fix, while coordinating with Technical Support to resolve issues and implement field notices.

Travel and safety compliance are key, with inventory control and accurate documentation expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years military experience in a related technical field.
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and company software applications.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and perform scheduled/emergency service on UPS, PDUs, and Battery systems (2-120KVA).
• Provide on-site and phone support to customers, striving for first-time fix resolution.
• Communicate with Technical Support on technical or procedural issues.
• Implement Field Change Notices and stay current on Safety Bulletins and Service Tips.
• Complete timecards, expense reports, mileage reports, and service documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain individual inventory and perform cycle counts per company policy.

ASEET or AMEET certification (or P to)

4+ years military experience in a tech

2+ years of relevant industry exp
