Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Customer Engineer - Field Services to install, commission, and service UPS, PDUs, and battery systems (2-120KVA). Travel to customer sites with a focus on first-time fix and safety adherence.

You will provide on-site and phone support, coordinate with Technical Support, and complete all service documentation accurately while maintaining inventory and following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• ASEET or AMEET certification progress toward is required.
• 4+ years military experience in a related technical field.
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and service UPS, PDUs and battery systems.
• Provide on-site and phone support with first-time fix focus.
• Communicate issues with Technical Support as needed.
• Implement Field Change Notices; stay current on safety bullets.
• Complete timecards, expenses, mileage, and service docs timely.
• Maintain inventory and perform cycle counts per policy.
• Operate safely per guidelines and customer site requirements.
• Meet or exceed on-site response time requirements.
