Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and remedial service on Small to Medium UPS, PDU, and battery systems. The role requires establishing rapport with customers and coordinating with sales and regional offices while delivering timely on-site support.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or technical training, with 0–2 years in the field and familiarity with electrical testing. Travel and safety compliance are essential components of the job.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or Vocational/Technical training.
• Experience with electrical/electronic test equipment.
• Military technical experience is preferred.
• 0-2 years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks on UPS, PDU, and battery systems as assigned and per company policies.
• Capable of working under direct supervision or independently based on training completion.
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on technical or procedural issues.
• Implement Field Change Notices per published guidelines.
• Maintain safety compliance and proper PPE usage.
