Job summary

Siemens Mobility through Russelectric seeks a Field Service Engineer to support critical power facilities in the Charlotte, NC area. You will perform automatic transfer switch startups, warranty work, and emergency calls while maintaining top customer service and safety standards.

The role requires hands-on technical skills, 3+ years in electrical power, and willingness to travel extensively. On-site work with potential on-call duties and budget-conscious project execution is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• 3+ years experience with electrical power, low to medium voltage switchgear
• Experience testing automatic transfer switches
• Reading schematics and blueprints for power control
• Familiarity with codes and industry standards
• Strong client interaction and budget-conscious delivery
• Self-directed with strong customer focus

Responsibilities

• Start up and commission automatic transfer switches at customer sites
• Provide warranty support, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to manage scope and costs
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations
• Travel up to 80% to field locations and maintain on-call readiness
