Siemens is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in El Paso, TX to commission, test, and troubleshoot low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems in diverse industrial environments. The role is highly travel‑oriented and supports greenfield and brownfield projects nationwide, ensuring safe, reliable system performance for customers.

You will install, test, and start up equipment up to 38 kV, commission protection relays (SEL, GE Multilin, SIPROTEC), use Omicron and Doble test sets,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of field-based commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical power distribution systems.
• Experience with protection and control relays (SEL, GE Multilin, Siemens SIPROTEC) and related software.
• Experience with relay testing equipment such as Omicron and Doble test sets.
• Experience with low- and medium-voltage switchgear, breakers, and electrical circuits.
• Ability to travel up to ~80% domestically.
• Legal work authorization in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Install, test, commission, and startup MV/LV power distribution equipment (480V-38kV).
• Perform field commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of protection and control relays.
• Use test equipment and software to validate system performance.
• Support greenfield and brownfield projects through commissioning, maintenance, and emergency response.
• Analyze test results, document findings in field reports.
• Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to provide technical support and training.
• Travel extensively to job sites across the U.S.
