Job summary

Vermeer Southeast Sales & Service, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Dispatcher in Georgia to own technician scheduling, routing, and real-time coordination of field service activities.

You will serve as the operational hub between customers, technicians, and leadership to ensure efficient deployment and timely updates. Responsibilities include scheduling and dispatch ownership, real-time communication about arrivals and changes, and maintaining accurate work orders and productivity reporting.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in dispatching, field service coordination, scheduling, or related operational roles preferred.
• Strong sense of urgency with a commitment to customer service and responsiveness.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch field service technicians based on customer needs, technician availability, skill set, and geographic efficiency.
• Maintain the daily dispatch schedule and adjust assignments in real time to minimize downtime.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and technicians regarding arrival times, schedule changes, and field updates.
• Monitor work order status and ensure technicians have accurate job details; track availability and schedule changes.
