Impact Business Group is seeking a Machine Installation Technician to install, commission, and validate large custom industrial machinery at customer sites. This role combines mechanical and electrical troubleshooting with PLC diagnostics and equipment startup, with about 50% travel internationally and domestically.

Competenze

• 3+ years installing machinery at customer sites.
• Hands-on with large custom machinery and industrial systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLCs in the field.
• Willingness to travel 50% domestically and internationally with passport.

Mansioni

• Install and commission large custom machinery at customer facilities, including setup and integration.
• Support equipment validation and acceptance testing before shipment and after installation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC issues during startup and commissioning.
• Diagnose field equipment problems and implement effective solutions with internal teams.
• Verify machinery operates per project specs and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with customer operators during startup, testing, and handoff.
• Provide customer training on operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Read electrical schematics, drawings, specs and related docs.
• Document installation, validation, testing, and outstanding issues.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, installation, and customer teams to progress field activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and installation processes.
