Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks a Machine Installation Technician to install, commission, and validate large custom industrial machinery at customer sites. The role blends mechanical and electrical troubleshooting with PLC diagnostics, equipment startup, and customer support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience installing machinery or automated equipment at customer sites.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot PLCs and field equipment.
• Willingness to travel ~50% domestically and internationally with passport ability.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission large custom machinery at customer facilities, including mechanical and electrical setup and integration.
• Support equipment validation and acceptance testing before shipment and after installation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related issues during startup and commissioning.
• Diagnose equipment problems in the field and collaborate with internal teams for solutions.
• Verify machinery operates per project specs and customer requirements.
• Work with customer operators during startup, testing and handoff.
• Provide customer training on operation, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and specs.
• Document installation, validation, testing, and open issues.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, installation, and customer teams to keep field activities on schedule.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and future designs.
