Job summary

Fives HPM is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, demonstrate, qualify, repair, and modify Fives machines at customer facilities across the Americas. This highly travel-oriented role requires hands-on mechanical, electrical, and CNC work and the ability to work independently in customers' sites.

You will train customer personnel, prepare service reports, ensure safety, and maintain ISO awareness while traveling up to 85–90%. A valid driver's license and passport are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent, plus 2–4 years related experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Passport for international travel when required.
• Ability to read and understand international print symbols.

Responsibilities

• Install, demonstrate, qualify, repair, and modify machines at customer facilities (mechanical, electrical, CNC).
• Follow verbal and written instructions, interpret drawings and service docs.
• Operate equipment at customer sites to demonstrate or qualify performance.
• Observe qualification runs and verify machine accuracy and quality.
• Prepare complete service reports and document activities.
• Train customers on operation, maintenance, and safety best practices and report safety concerns.
