Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Service Center Supervisor to lead a team of field service engineers and technicians in a defined area, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction. You will perform complex electrical troubleshooting, lead large projects, and manage estimates, scheduling, and reporting while promoting safety and operational excellence.

The role requires hands-on field work, travel, and strong leadership to develop teams and maintain Vertiv's standards of service.

Qualifications

• Electrical Power Distribution, Generators, Switchgear, ATS familiarity.
• Factory certifications on Vertiv core products and hands-on field service experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train field service engineers/technicians; oversee field service work in the area.
• Perform complex troubleshooting, tests, inspections, and electrical system appraisals.
• Lead large projects: generator tests, substation commissioning, turnkey projects, power surveys.
• Develop tests/inspections for new field service areas.
• Handle job estimating, proposals, fieldwork, scheduling, reports and billing.
• Prepare detailed end-of-project reports and processing of billing; client interface involvement.

Nine years of related work experience

Factory certified on Core Vertiv (Liebert) UPS

Knowledge of Electrical Power Distribution

NEC/OSHA/NFPA knowledge

Read electrical diagrams

Technical assistance by phone

On-site customer consultation

Analytical, problem-solving, communication skills

Strong supervisory/organizational skills

Computer skills (MS Word, templates)

Willing to travel; flexible hours; nights/weekends

Valid Driver’s License
