Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation in Phoenix is seeking an experienced supervisor and field services leader to support service center operations and regularly perform fieldwork. You will technically support a defined territory of service center engineers and oversee complex field projects.

The role requires HVAC expertise, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage scheduling, reporting, and client engagement to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of HVAC technical school, apprenticeship, or military equivalent with nine years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, electrical systems, temperature controls, and HVAC.
• Ability to read electrical one-line diagrams and hydronic diagrams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to supervise large projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and assist other field service engineers and technicians.
• Perform complex troubleshooting, specialized tests, inspections, and appraisals on mechanical cooling and temperature control systems.
• Lead large projects such as commissioning data center cooling systems and turnkey surveys.
• Develop tests and inspections in new field service areas.
• Estimate jobs, prepare proposals, schedule fieldwork, and plan manpower.
• Write detailed reports and process job billing; maintain client interface and business development activities.
