Job summary

Lippert is seeking an Assistant Service Technician to support service across the Tampa Bay / Sarasota-Bradenton region. You will travel to customer sites, analyze work orders, install and test components, and resolve issues while maintaining client trust and confidentiality.

The role requires a high school diploma (or related associate) and 1–3 years of experience. Expect up to 100% regional travel, a 40-hour work week, and on-site work at customer facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or related associates degree.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assists Service Tech to serve existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel; investigating complaints; tests; resolving problems.
• Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components; completing installation; performing tests.
• Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improvements.
• Keeps personal equipment operating by following instructions; troubleshooting; maintaining supplies; preventive maintenance; repairs.
• Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.
• Updates job knowledge by educational opportunities; reading publications.
• Accomplishes operations by completing related results as needed.
