Job summary

Bruker is seeking a Field Service Systems/Applications Engineer to install, qualify and support Bruker Nano Surfaces and Metrology instruments. You will train customers, diagnose advanced electro-mechanical issues, and collaborate with factories to develop new applications.

The role requires domestic and international travel, strong semiconductor knowledge, and the ability to work independently to maximize instrument performance and customer productivity.

Qualifications

• Proven understanding of engineering problem solving methods and test procedures.
• Experience with SPC and measurement system analysis (Gage R&R).
• Ability to install, qualify, train users and troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and qualify Bruker Nano Surfaces and Metrology instruments and accessories.
• Diagnose and resolve complex instrument issues with minimal guidance.
• Provide post-sale user and application training and support.
• Perform preventative maintenance and re-certification as needed.
• Develop new applications with customer samples and share with factories.
