Job summary

Bruker is seeking a Field Service Systems/Applications Engineer to support Bruker Nano Surfaces and Metrology customers in the US West region. The role combines field installation, user training, diagnostics, and application development to maximize instrument uptime and enable new uses.

Travel is required domestically and internationally; candidates should have a technical degree with 5+ years of related experience (or 3 years with a Bachelor's, or a Master's with less experience).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience with a technical degree, or 3 years with a Bachelor's.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor processing and metrology equipment.
• Proven engineering problem-solving, SPC, and Gage R&R knowledge.
• Ability to train customers and provide post-sale support.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Install and qualify Bruker Nano Surfaces and Metrology instruments and accessories.
• Troubleshoot and resolve start-up issues.
• Diagnose and resolve instrument issues with customers.
• Provide preventative maintenance and calibration.
