Job summary
Bruker Daltonics seeks a Field Service professional to install, qualify, and support Bruker Nano Surfaces and Metrology instruments in customer environments. You will diagnose complex electrophysics and mechanical issues, perform calibration, and train customers on instrument operation.
Travel domestically and internationally, interact with customers to optimize performance, and collaborate with engineering to develop solutions for advanced applications.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of related experience with a Technical degree; or 3 years and a Bachelor degree; or a Masters degree without experience.
Responsibilities
- Install and qualify Bruker Nano Surfaces and Metrology instruments, upgrades, and accessories.
- Troubleshoot start-up issues to meet objectives.
- Diagnose and resolve instrument issues with minimal guidance.
- Perform preventative maintenance and calibration.
- Teach operation theory and train new users.
- Create records of activity in support database.
- Develop new applications with factories to meet customer needs.
