Job summary

DHL Express is hiring a Service Agent to provide operational management and support at a DHL service center. The role ensures efficient handling of customer materials and shipments while complying with safety, security, regulatory, and company policies.

Key responsibilities include handling customer service, billing questions, shipment tracking, and coordinating with Sales/Service to resolve issues. Strong communication and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service or related field.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Must pass FAA, TSA, and CBP background checks for SIDA badge.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service, sales and operational support for the Service Center.
• Answers phone and greets visitors.
• Resolves billing problems in relation to the Service Center.
• Researches shipment tracking requests and provides feedback; attempts to resolve misplaced shipments.
• Communicates with Sales/Service to resolve customer problems.
• Assists with sorting, loading/unloading, shipment processing and documentation.
• Dispatches pickup and delivery information; arranges daily pickup schedules.
• May process or prepare import/export documentation and assist in the customs clearance process.
