Job summary

Interface Systems seeks an experienced Security Alarm Technician to diagnose and resolve application issues while maintaining fire alarm, TCP/IP networks, video surveillance, access control and wireless solutions. You will install and service security and video systems, wireless devices, and cabling, terminating, commissioning and testing components.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of field technician experience in electronic security.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• NICET certification is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings.
• Proficient with telecom, data, security and wireless systems terminology.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain Intrusion, Fire, Video Surveillance, Network and VoIP systems.
• Work in the field using efficient methods to resolve service issues.
• Train customers on Interface provided systems.
• Maintain inventory levels with physical counts and proper documentation.
• Install and terminate network and security cabling; perform firestopping as needed.
• Adhere to OSHA Health & Safety policies and interface with customers and vendors on projects.
