Job summary

Interface Systems is seeking an experienced Security Alarm Technician to diagnose and resolve issues across Fire, Intrusion, Video Surveillance, Network, and VoIP systems. The role involves installing, servicing, cabling, and testing electrical components with company-provided tools and strict safety practices.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and field experience in security installations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Vocational/Technical/Business School preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• NICET certification is a plus.
• Field experience with security/telecom installations preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret project drawings and technical documents.
• Must be able to pass background checks and work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain Intrusion, Fire, Video Surveillance, Network and VoIP integrated systems.
• Work in the field to diagnose and solve service issues.
• Train customers on Interface provided systems.
• Maintain inventory levels and document stocking activity.
• Install and terminate network and security cabling.
• Comply with OSHA safety policies and site procedures.
• Coordinate with customers and vendors on projects in the field.
