Job summary

Interface seeks an experienced Security Alarm Technician to diagnose and resolve issues across intrusions, fire, CCTV, and networked systems. You will install, service, and test security and video equipment in the field, cabling, and related components, while keeping accurate inventories and documentation.

The role demands a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and field experience; NICET is a plus. Expect travel, hands-on work outdoors, and a strong teamwork culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical/ vocational training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• NICET certification is a plus.
• Verifiable field experience in installation and service.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings.
• Proficient with telecom, data, security, and wireless systems terminology.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain intrusion, fire, video surveillance, network and VoIP systems.
• Work in the field using efficient methods to resolve service issues.
• Train customers on Interface-provided systems.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with regular counts.
• Install and terminate network and security cabling; firestop penetrations.
• Coordinate with customers and vendors on projects.
• Site visits and hands-on interaction with customers.
• Maintain vehicle and tools; may rotate on-call duties.
