Job summary

Interface Systems is seeking an experienced Security Alarm Technician to diagnose and resolve issues across Fire Alarm, TCP/IP networks, video surveillance, access control, and wireless solutions. You will install, test, and service security and video systems, cabling, and related components in customer environments.

Responsibilities include fieldwork, inventory management, and coordinating with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Verifiable field experience in electronic security installations and service.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
• NICET certification is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of telecom, data, security and wireless systems practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain intrusion, fire, video surveillance, network and VoIP systems.
• Work in the field using efficient methods to resolve service issues.
• Train customers on Interface-provided systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and submit documentation accordingly.
• Install and terminate network and security cabling; firestop penetrations.
• Adhere to OSHA health & safety policies and coordinate with vendors.
