Job summary

Interface Systems is seeking an experienced Security Alarm Technician to diagnose and resolve issues while maintaining Fire Alarm, TCP/IP networks, video surveillance, access control and wireless solutions.

You will install and service security and video surveillance systems, cabling, and related components. The role includes field work, on-call duties, and using a company-provided vehicle and tools.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings.
• Experience with telecom, data, security, and wireless systems.
• Able to pass state/federal background checks to become a registered installer.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain Intrusion, Fire, Video Surveillance, Network and VoIP systems.
• Train customers on Interface provided systems.
• Work in the field using efficient methods to resolve service issues.
• Maintain inventory and complete documentation per company policy.
• Coordinate with vendors and customers on projects.
