Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking an installation technician to install, service, and test electronic security systems including burglar and fire alarms, CCTV, and access control across residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel. We provide training, licensing support, and a wage starting at $20–$35 per hour with an incentive program up to 10% of annual pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
• Must have mathematical skills for calculations (areas, percentages, volumes).
• Must have knowledge of fire and electrical codes for installation safety.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire alarm and security devices (burglar/fire alarms, CCTV, access control).
• Test and verify systems per manufacturer specifications.
• Use multimeters and measurement tools for voltage and resistance readings.
• Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad; explain operation to customers.
• Complete paperwork daily and communicate with clients and central monitoring.
