Job summary

Per Mar Security Services in Duluth, MN seeks a skilled electronics security installer/technician to join our team. You will install, test and service burglar and fire alarms, CCTV and access control in residential, commercial and industrial environments.

Starting pay ranges from $20-$35 per hour based on experience, with a monthly incentive program of up to 10% of your annual pay. We offer tool allowances, a company vehicle and cell phone, competitive benefits and ongoing training to help you

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Must obtain licenses/certifications to perform work per state regulations.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Strong math and measurement skills; knowledge of fire and electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire specified alarm system devices.
• Test and verify systems function per manufacturer's specs.
• Use multimeters for volts and OHM readings and circuit analysis.
• Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad.
• Explain and demonstrate system operation to customers.
• Complete proper paperwork daily and submit to the appropriate department.
• Communicate with clients, coworkers and Central Monitoring Station.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
