Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking skilled technicians to install, test, and service electronic security systems across residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

Starting pay ranges from $20-$35 per hour based on experience, with a monthly incentive program up to 10% of annual pay; travel may be required, and benefits include medical, dental, paid vacation and holidays, and a 401K/403b plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required for all Per Mar Security Services positions.
• Must be able to travel, as needed.
• Knowledge of fire and electrical codes to ensure safe and proper installation.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire specified alarm system devices.
• Test and verify that all systems and devices function properly per manufacturer specs.
• Use multimeters for volts and OHM readings and circuit analysis.
• Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad.
• Explain how the alarm system installed works to the customer.
• Complete proper paperwork and submit to the appropriate department daily.
• Communicate with clients, coworkers, and Per Mar's Central Monitoring Station.
