Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is hiring for an electronics security systems technician in Wisconsin. The role involves installing, wiring, and testing burglar and fire alarm systems, CCTV and access controls in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Must travel as needed to perform work.
• High School Diploma or GED required for all positions.
• Knowledge of fire and electrical codes to ensure safe and proper installation of alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire alarm system devices as specified.
• Test and verify system functionality per manufacturer specifications.
• Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad.
• Explain to customers how the installed system works.
• Complete paperwork and submit to the appropriate department daily.
• Communicate with clients, co-workers and the Central Monitoring Station.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
