Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking skilled technicians to install, test, and service electronic security systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. You will wire alarm devices, verify operation, and program systems while ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to travel, and a High School Diploma or GED. Training is provided, and a company vehicle and benefits are included where applicable.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and pre-employment background checks and drug tests.
• Must obtain licenses/certifications to work in security per state regulations.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire specified alarm system devices.
• Test and verify that all installed systems function properly per manufacturer specs.
• Use multimeters for volts and OHM readings and circuit analysis.
• Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad.
• Explain to customers how the alarm system works.
• Submit proper paperwork daily to the appropriate department.
• Communicate with clients, coworkers and Central Monitoring Station.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
