Job summary

Interface is seeking an experienced Security Alarm Technician to diagnose and resolve application issues, while maintaining fire alarm, TCP/IP networks, video surveillance, access control and wireless solutions.

You will install and service security and video systems, cabling, and related components, with company-provided tools and a field-based, customer-facing role. The position is full-time and may require travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or strongly preferred.
• Vocational/Technical/Business School training is beneficial.
• NICET certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain intrusion, fire, video surveillance, and network systems.
• Work in the field with efficient methods to resolve service issues.
• Train customers on Interface provided systems.
• Maintain inventory levels with physical counts.
• Install and terminate network and security cabling.
• Understand OSHA health and safety policies and interface with customers.
