Job summary

Interface Systems is seeking an experienced Security Alarm Technician to diagnose and resolve issues while maintaining Fire Alarm, TCP/IP Networks, Video Surveillance, Access Control and Wireless solutions at customer sites.

This role involves installing and servicing security and video systems, wireless devices, and cabling; field interaction with customers, and working from the field or branch locations. A valid driver’s license is required, and travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Vocational/Technical/Business School preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• NICET Certification is a plus.
• Verifiable field experience.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain Intrusion, Fire, Video Surveillance, Network and VoIP integrated systems.
• Work in the field with efficient methods to solve service issues.
• Train customers on Interface provided systems.
• Maintain inventory levels and conduct physical inventory counts; submit documentation.
• Install and terminate network and security cabling; firestop cable penetrations.
• Adhere to OSHA Health & Safety policies; interact with customers and vendors on projects.
