Job summary

Guide Energy Solutions, LLC. is seeking a Field Testing Specialist to support technical projects across Guide Energy Solutions and Guide Water Solutions.

This field-focused role collects samples, conducts tests, and documents operating conditions for laboratory evaluation. The ideal candidate works independently in active field environments, follows procedures, protects sample integrity, records data, and communicates clearly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical education preferred but not required.
• Ability to learn approved field-sampling and testing methods.
• Willingness to travel regionally and work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sampling/testing needs with project managers and other specialists.
• Confirm sample plans, field access, operating conditions, timing, and samples obtained.
• Collect representative field samples following approved plans and labeling.
• Perform field testing using approved methods and well-maintained equipment after training.
• Complete testing checks, calibrations, and documentation accurately
• Record source, location, date/time, conditions, treatment, and results.
• Preserve, label, package, store, and transport samples to protect integrity.
• Communicate results and observations to managers and colleagues.
• Escalate questionable results or issues affecting data quality promptly.
• Maintain sampling equipment, instruments, supplies, records, and vehicle readiness.
